Description
Summary:Meta-cognitive skills have become a sine qua non in any 21st century teaching approach from primary, lower- and upper-secondary education, tertiary or university level. Whilst the traditional recipe of instruction based on “what to teach” has consumed so much effort, time, and energies meant at transmitting and acquiring knowledge, little or no attention has been allotted to higher-order skills which, once embedded in a curriculum and further-on released within a teaching-learning-evaluating paradigm, could make a qualitative difference. This paper aims at providing a scaffolding strategy of launching a blended learning curriculum online,as any specialist in education would love to “kill two birds with the same stone”.
