Description
Summary:In this article, we aim to carefully analyze the forces applied to implants in DMA biomechanics in various forms of prosthodontic edentulism and in different variants of implant-supported prosthesis. We will also examine the most suitable prosthesis variants that would keep the occlusal forces applied on implants within functional physiological limits to avoid overloading at the root-implant support level, overloads that could lead to bone resorption and implant mobility. We will define the elements that must be considered to minimize the risk of failure in implant-prosthetic therapy and based on all these benchmarks, a correct implant-prosthetic therapeutic plan will be developed.
