Esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed a polypoid mass with blackened areas at the greater curvature of the gastric body, which was histologically compatible with melanoma; positive immunohistochemistry for S100, melan-A, and vimentin. The extensive dermatological exam did not identify a primary lesion. |
