| Summary: | The first twelve issues of La Bretagne Linguistique reflected the study and reflection days of the Groupe de recherche sur l'économie linguistique de la Bretagne, founded in 1984. They were mainly devoted to sociolinguistics. After a long interruption, we thought it would be a good idea, before returning to sociolinguistics, to devote a special issue to Breton dialectology and geolinguistics. The organisation of this issue is under the responsibility of Jean Le Dû, Professor Emeritus, and Nelly Blanchard, who teaches dialectology in the Celtic department of the University of Western Brittany. |
