Description
Summary:Information systems are major solutions for organizational challenges and problems created in the business environment. When information systems do not have the pertinent quality, the enterprises would fail to solve the problems associated with them.Considering the importance of quality of information systems for the purpose of organizational success by increasing use of these systems in Iranian organizations, this research did a comparative study to review the attitudes of both Software developers and users of these systems based on the quality model of ISO/IEC 9126. Due to comparative nature of this study, two randomly sample test each one with 200 questionnaires was conducted between populations of information systems software developers and users of these systems in capital city of Tehran. The findings of 2 independent sample t-tests showed the meaningful gap between the attitudes of developers and users in regard with current state of existing systems in use. The reason for this gap was concluded as inadequate understanding of software developers about needs of the users, the unwillingness of them to invest for customer value and lack of users experience and education to properly implement these systems.
