| description | The following study has as object the Puri people way of life situated between Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro between the 18th and 19th century -period that goes through the transition of a ecosystem lived and still preserved by those indigenous people to a ecosystem explored by the colonial contact that modifies the preexisting social organizations and the relations of several forms of natural lives. Presenting an articulation between humans and nature for these different ways of relations with this environment, the article is based on the analysis of historic and bibliographic sources about the Puri people and about the dynamic of the society, culture and environment that existed on the territory which they lived in a native way. The goal is describe how the colonial contact modified the indigenous worlds when producing an exploration cenario of differents ways of life, influencing the direction of sociability that suceeded in these region. |
