| description | Criminalistic identification represents the process of identifying objects according to criminalistic traces, the aim is to identify the object that formed the criminalistic trace. The authors deal with the development of opinions on the concept of criminal identification. They describe the objects of identification, the second and the methods of identification spoofing. They extend the methods of identification research with the concept of recognition, identification of objects according to the memory trace. They comment on the possibility of determining the authenticity of the vehicle. I clarify the view of identification and non-identification research in criminology. They propose to remove vehicle identification from the issue of Criminal Identification of the Case and recommend to include it in the issue of forensic disciplines, such as "Forensic Vehicle Identification".
