Description
Summary:The increasing development of research related to geoheritage and its potential of application to diversified spaces has allowed its diffusion and even its connection to new problems and potential multifaceted spaces. In this context, it is proposed the implementation of geoheritage inventory and promotion strategies, mainly to geomorphological heritage, in the anthropic structures (multifunctional derived channels), already used as a form of pedestrian trails, in order to value and promote integrally the territory. Thus, we performed a survey of the geoheritage in the Levada de Piscaredo, located in the northwest of Portugal, defining its associated value, and presenting the multifunctionality factors of this route.
