Description
Summary:In this paper, we show an implemented information system capable of supporting knowledge management in Noaka’s hypertext organization. Appropriate supportive mechanisms for the four knowledge-sharing processes (socialization, externalization, inernalization, combination) were defined through a modified semantic wiki system. We suggest an information system model that shall support the hypertext organization through its four layers: (1) the business system layer (supported by traditional information system), (2) the project team layer (supported by a dynamic project management system) and (3) the knowledge based layer (supported through a modified semantic wiki system). In the end, we give the results of a preliminary applicability research as well as guidelines for implementation and use of such system.
