description | In this work, a test bed and stand structure were designed for the thrust test of an aircraft. The engine test rig consists of a thrust stand, test bed, transport system, and hoisting device. In this study, structural design and analysis of the stand and bed for engine thrust test equipment were performed. The stand structure supported the engine, and the test bed moved the thrust test equipment and the engine. Structural design loads were defined by analyzing the operating conditions. Structural analysis was performed based on the structural design results. As a result of analyzing the structural safety against thrust, which is the main design load, it was considered to be sufficiently safe. Finally, the target structure was manufactured to verify the design result. |
