| Summary: | The paper aims to discuss the challenges created by the new technological paradigm, and how Brazil could exploit some possibilities – considering the current industrial structure of Brazilian economy. The paper presents a short brief of some industrial policies that have been applied in industrial economies abroad and analyzes these examples to highlight the characteristics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution which could able Brazil’s industrial policy to take advantage of some of the possibilities. These possibilities will emerge due to the characteristics of the new technological paradigm. |
