description | The access to droop-controlled components makes the operation of the power system more complicated,and also brings new challenges to the power system analysis. Power flow calculation is the most basic and important type of calculation in power system analysis. When performing power flow calculations for power systems with droop control components,it is necessary to consider new problems that are not considered in conventional power flow calculations. The basic theory of droop control is introduced and the research on power flow calculation of power systems with droop control is summarized. Firstly,the principle of droop control,the types of main components,and the application scenarios of power flow calculation with droop control are briefly introduced. Secondly,the processing methods of droop-controlled components in power flow calculation are listed. Then,the questions of alternating current (AC) system power flow calculation with droop control are considered. In addition,the domestic and foreign solutions are also presented. Finally,combined with the new requirements of power flow calculation in power system,it is proposed that the power flow calculation considering droop control needs to establish a unified calculation model in modeling,and the mathematical programming method can be used for the algorithm,but it needs to be further improved according to the actual scene.
