Description
Summary:The article provides general information about the autobiographical genre, compares the study of autobiography in the world and the theory of Azerbaijani literature, and determines the attitude to the results of these studies. A review of autobiographical works written in Azerbaijani literature, the creation of autobiographical images is analyzed on the stages of creation of these literary models. The main object of research – autobiographical direction in the story of Isa Muganna is analyzed in detail. In the first autobiographical story of the author “Native language in the past” created autobiographical images of his father and uncle. Later in the stories “Why?”, “Letter from the Front”, “Mirror of Ahmed”, “Keroglu`s Tower, above the clouds” Isa Muganna presented his autobiographical image. If in the stories “Letter from the front” and “Why?” the writer reflects the peculiarities of his childhood than in the story “Mirror of Ahmed” he writes about his youth and the hardships of the war. In the literary work “The Tower of Keroglu, above the clouds” tells about the visit of Muganna to Turkey and presents to the reader the narration of the character and personal thoughts of the writer. The autobiographical image in the author’s stories is analyzed based on the author’s interviews, articles and the work of other researchers. At the end of the article it is noted the positive qualities of the autobiographical images created in the stories of Isa Muganna. The creation of autobiographies in works of art can also be considered as a reflection in the literature of social media. Each writer creates different autobiographical images of heroes, embodied in them and their acquaintances. The reader who gets acquainted with these heroes and forms at it certain life-important qualities, can and will continue to use these characteristics in his life experience. Autobiographies also give a representation of a certain period so that the reader can, having studied the past, step into the future. From this point of view, the creation of autobiographies in literature can be not only a pleasure for the reader, but also a school life. Literary-theoretical ideas in connection with autobiography in Azerbaijani literary criticism began to emerge at the beginning of the 21st century. If you look at the history of Azerbaijani literature, then in the works written, from Khagani Shirvani to the present day, there are autobiographies. But there are also some differences in creating an autobiography. Autobiographical images created in the works of Nizami and Khagani are not complete autobiographies, since the great artists mentioned above expressed their destiny in their works openly (without coding, full artistic description). The autobiographies in the works of Nasimi and Fuzuli are deciphered autobiographical images. That is, artistic fantasy fully embraces the fate and character of the author. Autobiographical images created by Bakhtiyar Vakhabzade, Ismail Shikhli, Sabir Ahmadli, Isa Muganna, Sabir Azeri in modern Azerbaijani literature are actually encrypted autobiographies. For example, here one can name “Unfinished manuscript” by S. Akhmedli, “Confessions of a student-prisoner” by S. Azeri, “Front roads” by I. Shikhli.
