description We have as aim, in this paper, to reflect on discursive formations of enunciations from Silas Malafaia, evangelical Brazilian pastor that have been provoking much interest by the media in his polemic statements. We concentrate on pastor enunciations because he passes his comments on vary knowledge fields, such as: religious, political, juridical and science, but religious discursive formation is dominant in his speech, which is expected since he is an evangelical pastor. When he assumes religious discourse, Malafaia becomes resistant to social changes, provoking different positions in society. As research corpus, we take an interview that pastor gives to the hostess Marilia Gabriela, which is available in video at Youtube. After interview selection, a transcript was done in order to proceed the analysis. We based on concepts of Orlandi (2001, 2002), Fernandes (2008) and Melo (2012) to reflect on pastor discursive formations, using as theorical approach the concepts from French discourse analysis.
