| Summary: | Human civilization is based on production and consumption, which generates waste resulting from the production processes but also from the end of the life cycle of each product, when it no longer corresponds to the requirements for which it was purchased. The amount of waste will continue to increase as the standard of living increases. The lack of education, the involvement of those responsible for the proper management of waste to a small extent, causes waste that could be reused, recycled or used to generate energy, to be disposed of at random or to landfill. The responsible collection of waste by businesses brings environmental benefits.
The paper presents strategies of empowerment, the way of selective waste collecting and what are the benefits brought to the environment by the selective waste collecting. The essence of this paper is: how businesses are empowerment, but also people in general, for selectively collecting waste. |
