| description | The author discusses the issue of preserving and relocating / reassembling a monumental work of art, included in the list of national heritage values - the mosaic panel „Art (Attributes of Art)”, made by the artist Mihai Burea (1972) on the facade of the former Palace of Culture of Trade Unions, Rascani sector in Chisinau, dismantled in 2018, following the demolition of the block. The importance of the mosaic panel is enhanced by the status of the image, as a product of an interaction between the sender and receiver and, at the same time, as a place of transition to the mentality that generated it, as an object of representation and as an object-means of transmission/communication of a written message/implicit to the genre. |
