description Myofibroblastic tumor is one of the rare solid tumors occurring in children. It is mesenchymal in origin composed of myofibroblastic spindle cells admixed with lymphocytes, plasma cells, and eosinophills. We present a case of 14 months old female child with inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of jejunum. She underwent surgical excision. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis.
