Summary:The present work is focused in the study of the political situation of Greeks under the Roman power. It starts from an overall political context and analyzes the Political Precepts (Mor. 798A-825F), dated to the early second century A.C. The work addresses the political limits of the historical examples used by Plutarch and, finally, it is also analyzed the role of the Greek intellectual in the maintenance of the Roman status quo.
