| description | Resumo: Em território português, as festas que envolvem máscaras “locais” ou “tradicionais” têm vindo a crescer nos útlimos anos, integrando-se progressivamente em novos circuitos turísticos e patrimoniais. Neste ensaio visual, procurámos dar a ver alguns momentos dessas festas, com foco no processo de celebração, contribuindo para pensar a posição peculiar em que elas se encontram no mundo contemporâneo: entre a reprodução dos patrimónios herdados e a sua (re)invenção.
