Description
Summary:The artist Angélica Liddell, known for her baroque theatre and stage excesses, experienced in 2014 a return to the Christian faith she knew as a child and then lost. She finds in the religious feeling not only the necessary comfort to face the various pains she is confronted with on a personal level, but also an artistic inspiration, both on a theoretical and practical level, which will prove to be decisive in the development of her theatrical work. This study examines the different steps of this conversion and the repercussions of this spiritual process on Angélica Liddell's conception of theatre and on her various poetic and theatrical creations.
