Summary: | Lymphoma is a malignancy arising from lymphocytes or lymphoblasts. Depending on organ involved, aggressiveness, and primary or secondary disease, the expression of lymphoma shows polymorphism and sometimes makes it difficult to diagnose from imaging. There are other conditions that can mimic image findings in different organ systems in lymphoma, such as lung or pancreatic cancer, thymic neoplasms, malignant germ cell neoplasms, infection, spinal cord ependymoma, and metastases. These diseases may appear similar on image findings, but there are some clues for the differential diagnosis. This article will describe the image findings of lymphoma spectrum in a patient and its mimics.
