The aim of this article is to analyze Polish and Russian forms of address, greetings and farewells, as well as typical acts of communication, such as requests, thanks, or the ritual of making apologies. The use of appropriate, conventionalized forms of verbal etiquette is a basic condition of the fortunateness of acts of communication. |
