It is noticeable how most of Chinese Canadian writers start from the perspective of the reflex of its historical cultural identity and use all the necessary resources and strategies to show it. The main objective of this research is to do a literary discourse analysis that shows how Chinese Canadian historical cultural identity is reflected in SKY Lee’s novel Disappearing Moon Cafe through the stylistic device allusion.
