Summary:The paper foregrounds the idea that any casual conversation may be considered as a serious game, at the level of which, different other games can be identified: the game of the participants, that of the code, context, message and contact. The paper, draws on Johan Huizinga`s conception about games and John von Neumann and Oskar Morgenstern` s theory of games, and represents an attempt of analysing just one kind of game in casual conversation, that is, that of the participants, in order to establish its main objectives and traits.
