Description
Summary:The participation of members of the Serbian Armed Forces in multinational operations of the European Union takes place within the framework set by the rules of the national, European, and international law. This paper addresses special attention to the rules of international law, which are important or may become important for the regulation of the activities of the Serbian Armed Forces' members in the crisis management operations. The aim of this paper is to present a range of branches of international law governing the status and conduct of the armed forces contributing to the operations. Given that this is a current topic, the results of the paper will show the importance that the international law may have for an external view of the role of the Republic of Serbia in keeping the international peace and security.
