Summary: | The judicial activities of the Taurida Mohammedan spiritual government is studied in the article on the basis of analysis of the legislation of the Russian Empire with the involvement of archival materials. The author identifying the major powers in the exercise of judicial functions by government as consideration of marriage and family cases, wills and disputes over the division inheritance. It is found that cases were heard on the basis of Muslim law and based on the rights granted by the Russian authorities. |
