| description | This article examines how the intersection of eco-theological concepts influences the attitudes and behavior of students to be environmentally conscious. This explores the gap in the role of religion in efforts to protect the environment which are still considered insignificant. This study uses a qualitative method by interviewing 20 students at one of the Islamic boarding schools in Surabaya who have applied eco-theology in Islamic boarding school education. Even though in concept religion has an influence on health, this is limited and focused on internalizing the concept of eco-theology in students. The results of this study show a pretty good improvement for students who do understand the concept of eco-theology, and this is one of the efforts to overcome environmental problems from a religious perspective, especially in Islamic boarding schools. |
