description The article deals with the main problems of the establishment of international cooperation in combating organized crime in Ukraine. The state of the legislative base, the positive and negative dynamics of implementation of the reforms proclaimed in the state and the mechanisms of state regulation of the fight against organized crime and compliance with international agreements are analyzed. The emphasis is on the way Ukraine has been an independent state during international cooperation in the fight against organized crime. Particular attention is paid to the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as an executive body authorized for international cooperation in the fight against organized crime groups. Having considered Ukraine’s problems regarding international cooperation in the fight against organized crime, we conclude that, despite the fact that this activity is useful and actively supported by the countries of the world, there are a number of problems that hinder fruitful cooperation between countries, among them: the problem of differences in criminal the legislation of the participating states, the problem of foreign policy, the problem of foreign policy, the economic problem, the domestic political situation in the state, the corruption of the Governments AB, no single international coordinating body. Let’s conclude that under the current conditions of development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has turned to a new level of studying and applying the experience of other states in the field of combating organized crime, conducts and is involved in joint operations, establishes an exchange of information. In the opinion of most scholars, Ukraine has begun such an active movement towards international cooperation since 2010, and Ukraine’s internal affairs officers have proven themselves as highly skilled professionals in the international arena. The number of international agreements proves the strengthening of international cooperation on the part of Ukraine in the field of combating organized crime and corruption, the fight against criminality, which has long crossed the borders of one state.
