description A series of novel (5R)-5-((2S,3S)-3-((1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-2,6-diphenyl-3,3a,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]thiazoles 11a–g and (5R)-5-((2S,3S)-3-((1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-6-phenyl-3,3a,5,6-tetrahydroisoxazolo[3,4-d]thiazoles 12a–g were synthesized by the reaction of chalcone derivatives of (R,Z)-2-((2S,3S)-3-((1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-5-(4-fluorobenzylidene)-3-phenylthiazolidin-4-ones 10a–g with phenylhydrazine and hydroxylamine hydrochloride. The chemical structures of newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by IR, NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The compounds 11a–g and 12a–g were evaluated for their antibacterial activity and antifungal activity.
