Description
Summary:Communication between doctors and patients in the Observation Units has peculiar characteristics, shared with emergency psychology and in-ward relationships. The emergency physician must keep in mind that a good relation with his patients is an important part of the cure process. One should leave time to listen to the patient, understand his anxiety, not to separate him from his relatives. This behavior will reduce conflicts between doctors and patients improving the quality of their relations. The dynamics among doctors themselves, nurses and sanitary technicians must be considered too.
