description This article is devoted to the phenomenon of dialogue in everyday psychotherapy. The results of phenomenological research are illustrated by fragments of the interviews. Dialogue (as the occurrence оf life, a genesis event according to M.M. Bakhtin) is characterized by the following features: personal nature of communication that is not role-based; naturalness of speech; expressed purpose of supporting the “client”; the counselor’s authority in the eyes of the “client”; the novelty of the content; substantial changes in the state of the client. We distinguish between two basic types of dialogues: a dialogue with a predominant activity of a “client” and a dialogue with a predominant activity of a “counselor”. We note that within the framework of the dialogical approach it is possible to speak about a particular isomorphism of the phenomena of professional and everyday psychotherapy; we analyze the possibilities of considering the dialogue as a kind of a “connective tissue” of professional and everyday psychotherapy.
