Summary:<p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">The article deals with the study of the synthesis of Eastern and Western traditions in the modern world as an example of the Iberian Peninsula. Spain <span class="char-style-override-40" xml:lang="ru-RU">–</span> is a country in the vicissitudes of two worlds <span class="char-style-override-40" xml:lang="ru-RU">–</span>the West and East. For a long time, Iberian culture has undergone some important changes related to the Arab conquest of land, starting with the southern province of Andalusia and ending the northern province of Galicia, Navarre, the Basque Country, Astu-rias. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of influence on the formation of the Reconquest of the Iberian culture features. The analysis of linguistic characteristics of the Spanish language, revealed word of Arabic origin.</p>
