Summary: | The current research aimed to examine and determine the reliability and validity of the Work-Family-School Conflict Scale among working married female students of universities of Ahvaz. The design of the research was descriptive-correlational. The population of the research included all working married female students of Shahid Chamran and Islamic Azad Universities of Ahvaz, among whom 200 students were selected using voluntary sampling method and according to the include and exclude criteria and completed Olson's Work-Family-School Conflict and Xu and Song's Work-Family-School Conflict Scales. The data were analyzed using Cronbach's α and Pearson correlation coefficients and using SPSS-21. The findings showed that the Cronbach's α coefficients of whole scale was 0.96, for 12-factor model it ranged from 0.83 to 0.96, and for 4-factor model it ranged from 0.57 to 0.80. Also, the convergent validity coefficient of the scale with Xu and Song's Work-Family-School Conflict Scale and Olson's 12-factor model were significant (p < 0.001). Can be said that the Work-Family-School Conflict Scale can apply in research and counseling settings as a reliable and valid scale. |
