Description
Summary:The performance of mutual funds industry has been in the spotlight for over 40 years. Various measures have been developed in order to identify the most successful funds. Data Envelopment Analysis, as a relatively new field of Operations Research, has been developing in the past decades. It enables evaluation of decision making units’ efficiency. This paper analyses the performance of equity funds in Croatia in a new way, in comparison with the previous studies, by using a Dynamic SBM model. Based on the results from an empirical analysis, potential investors can rank the observed funds based on their return and risk. In that way they can use the results of the analysis when choosing the right fund to invest.
