description In recent years, various methodologies have been implemented to identify the study and assess the impact on the environment associated with the life of a product, service or organization. From the concept of "sustainable development", according to which the spheres of economic, social and environmental development must be integrated, is born the philosophy of thinking called Life Cycle Thinking. [1] The new idea compared to the past is to consider a product as a set of operations, flows of materials and energy (inputs and outputs), associated with all the steps of its life cycle, from design to the end of life. Despite its priority role at the economic level, the textile sector is very concerned about sustainability. Today it is the second most polluting industry in the world, in second place only that of oil, and therefore, its understanding and evaluation are very important
