Summary: | The Necessity of having an active & diligent management over current organizations & redesigning organization structure is very critical. Contemporary organizations have constantly extended their attempts to design & improve their structures according to fuzzy model. The experience shows that, active sense overwhelming an organization may lead the managers and also the organization to succeed in obtaining designed goals. Accordingly, to estimate contextual dimensions effects on selecting organization structure for a research center associated with aerial industries, a fuzzy multi criteria decision making model is provided. The structures appropriate for the research center are initially considered as the examples, their contextual dimensions also assumed as measuring criteria. The value of each criterion is then estimated using Extent Analysis" and organization structure of under study research centers are prioritized using Fuzzy ELECTRE approach considering their size, environment, control & potency, technology and strategy supply. To confirm the results, decision making model is re-analyzed using Fuzzy Simple Additive weighting models are compared. It is concluded that modular structure is the optimum organization structure for intended research center |
