A lo largo de la historia de Buenos Aires se observan diferentes tipos de articulación entre el sistema urbano y el rural. En el presente trabajo se pretende comprender cómo se ve y proyecta la relación entre el sistema urbano y el rural hacia mediados del siglo XX. Para ello resulta necesario remitirse al estudio de los documentos urbanísticos y bibliográficos que abordan esa época. Los documentos urbanísticos manifiestan las formas de pensar la ciudad en cada momento histórico. El estudio realizado muestra que el PlanRegulador buscó establecer una clara delimitación de los espacios urbanos y rurales mediante su reestructuración y ordenación. Este plan establecía que la ciudad y su Área Metropolitana conformaban una unidad funcional y formal.
ABSTRACT
Throughout the history of Buenos Aires there are different types of articulation between the urban and the rural system. The present work aims to understand how the relationship between the urban and the rural system is looked and projected in Buenos Aires at the middle of the twentieth century. For that reason it is necessary to refer to urban documents and bibliography dealing with the city in this period. The documents show the ways of thinking the city in each historical moment and indicate the Regulatory plan sought to establish a clear delimitation of rural and urban spaces through its restructuring and management. The plan stated that the city and its Metropolitan Area conformed a formal and functional unit. |
