| Summary: | Acquired childhood aphasia is often mentioned only marginally in domestic literature despite the fact that the number of individuals affected by this acquired language disorder is constantly growing (ÚZIS ČR, 2014). The aim of this article is to highlight the issue of acquired childhood aphasia in context of domestic and foreign literature, to summarize currently available knowledge about aphasias in relation to childhood and to encourage experts from different fields to further explore this phenomenon. |
