Description
Summary:The issue of historicity is one of the most important sensitive topics, which still raises a lot of controversy among currents of contemporary Islamic thought, between those who see it as a destructive weapon that leaves nothing of religion, and those who see it as a new and alternative mechanism for all mechanisms of Islamic jurisprudence, in all frameworks and levels, whether belief or jurisprudence. . The historical tendency presents itself as a method for understanding the text and reading the language within its historical context, just as it is a method for understanding the historicity of laws and rulings. In the sense of believing that the language when used by the speaker remains under the influence of the nature of the historical circumstance in which it came, that the dispute over this saying is not between the modernists and the traditionalists only, but between the modernists themselves, for they are between those who accept it as a methodology in the Qur’an and Sunnah without any difference, and between those who accept it in the Sunnah only ,
