Autonomous driving has embraced this technology, as it offers a wide range of potential applications, including the operation of autonomous vehicles and the digitization of infrastructure for the development of Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) services. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of containerization in autonomous driving, emphasizing its application, utility, benefits, and limitations.
