In Tamil literature, figures are speech has been employed from the age past to the present to deliver an aesthetic sense. Kulothungan is one of the Tamil poets who have been known for the extraordinary usage of aesthetic sense in his poems. This article examines the Tamil poet Kulothungan's poems that speak of nature, the mind of man and political works using aesthetic techniques such as simile, metaphor, symbolism and imagination. |
