description In view of problem of advanced geology data acquisition method but backward data processing method in mineral resources evaluation, the paper proposed a mineral resources evaluation method based on MapGIS K9. The method firstly builds database of surrounding and deep data of old mine in resource center of MapGIS K9, then uses MapGIS K9 software to process the data to generate coordinate transformation point bitmap and geochemical map, so as to finish process of mineral resources evaluation. The processing result showed that the method not only reduces processed period of mineral resources data but also ensures accuracy of spatial data.
