Summary:An analysis of studies of conflict situations and strategies of behavior in conflict is presented, gender characteristics of behavior in a conflict situation are described. The results of a study of the influence of gender identity on behavior in conflict among married and unmarried women are presented. Based on testing of 40 married and 40 unmarried women, it was shown that women with a feminine type of gender most often choose avoidance as a strategy of behavior in a conflict, with a masculine type – rivalry, with androgynous – a compromise.
