The hydroxyl group of the 2-hydroxyethyl residue is disordered over two sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.572 (6):0.428 (6). In the crystal structure O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds together with Br...O halogen bonds stack the molecules along the b-axis direction.
