Abstract: As a new experimental design method, the master protocol has been widely used in clinical research. The platform trial is an important part of the master protocol design, which is used to evaluate multiple treatment regimens for a single disease in a long-term and dynamic manner, and has been recognized and adopted by a growing number of scholars because of its flexibility and sharing. This paper will briefly introduce the method of platform trail from the aspects of background, design concepts, important issues, and case analyses. |
