Summary:Till now acute respiratory infection (ARI) remains one of the most pressing problems in the healthcare practice due to the extremely high level of morbidity, especially pronounced during seasonal epidemics. According to the global data,every adult annually suffers from a minimum 23 episodes of ARVI, and children - from 6-8 [13]. High incidence of acute respiratory infections is associated with a heavy economic burden, primarily due to indirect costs as a result of loss of labour capacity.
