Heart rate‐dependent mitral regurgitation
Key Clinical Message Mitral regurgitation (MR) is a particularly dynamic valvular disorder. Extreme bradycardia can lead to prolonged left ventricular filling time and mitral annular dilatation, hence causing secondary MR in a structurally normal mitral valve.
