Description
Summary:The objective of this theoretical study is to present the sine qua non condition of teacher education in the reduction of bullying-related problems in educational institutions. Teacher education has been treated in a superficial and naive way, considering that among specific problems of social coexistence – of which bullying is a main issue - public policies have been limited to defining it in booklets and awareness campaigns. It is thus imperative to discuss some data that confirm the need for teachers to adhere, in a more engaged manner, to moral values to strengthen their interventions so that they contribute to overcoming forms of violence such as bullying.
