Summary:Integrating the social and cultural struggles against the capitalist order and entrepreneurial state, the political sociology of the common theorized in the work of Dardot and Laval Commun (2014) aims to found political and activist action on an praxis instituting that generates collective subjects oriented towards concepts such as coactivity, participation, consultation and co-decision. This text aims to highlight the contributions and limits of a radically anti-essentialist conception of social-historical world, while relying on a dialectical conception of institutions, runs the risk of sometimes pay a pragmatist and disembodied conception of the socio-cultural universe, illustrated by the use of self-imposed, self-managed and federated "common" as the only legitimate collective entities.
