Summary:Based on the space conditions and sewage treatment requirements of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, four sewage stations with first-grade treatment system were re-constructed using membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment process. This paper reported the scheme selection, process flow and equipment selection. It shows that MBR treatment process is characterized by good effluent quality, compact equipment, small footprint and other advantages. It is worthy to recommend in other hospitals to support sewage station transformation.
